Indu Sarpal

Hi, my name is Indu, I'm a Certified Planner through the Wedding Institute of Canada (WPIC) and I graduated from the University of Manitoba with an Arts and Bachelors of Social Work. I have an extensive 13-year background in the customer service industry. I was later involved in the family business after marriage, where I took on a leadership role by being instrumental in the planning and organization of the day-to-day operations.

Before starting Radiant Star Events, my sisters and I were always instrumental in event planning and coordination within our friends and family. We naturally gravitated to that responsibility and with the success of those events and the encouragement of friends and family, we decided to take a more professional pursuit of event coordination.

In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children. I also enjoy a good workout, cooking, and traveling.

Raji Sarpal

Hi, my name is Raji and I'm a Certified Planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC). I also studied Human Resources and Marketing at the University of Manitoba. I have an extensive background in the customer service industry while working more than 10 years in the Logistics field. I thrive working in a fast-paced environment and over the years have developed a skill set that allows me to remain calm and collected under pressure, without adversely affecting my performance.

Having attended many events in the past, and planning my own wedding in 2021 within a mere 8 weeks, I understand the importance of having an event coordinator. I was working full-time during the wedding planning and it would have been so much easier to have the help of a professional event coordinator to take most of the responsibility from me. This would have allowed me to enjoy the process and days leading up to my own wedding much more.

I stay grounded and calm with regular workouts and time spent with my husband and family.

Sonia Sarpal

Hi, my name is Sonia and I'm a Certified Wedding Planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC). I have also worked in the Medical field as a Nursing Assistant for the past 17 years.

My career has allowed me to excel in communications, staying organized, and to remain calm under highly stressful situations.

I love attending weddings and events where I'm able to watch different details come together to make the event work. I personally believe the host should enjoy their event with the guests and not have to worry about the logistics of the event coming together properly. When I am not working, I enjoy my 3 children, husband, and new puppy. I enjoy family time and taking long walks.
